About the Academy
Akkerman Academy is operated by Akkerman, a Danish-Ukrainian engineering and software firm established in 2013 — Danish leadership, engineering teams based in Ukraine. The Academy has been running since 2021. Its purpose is direct: to make Akkerman’s own engineering practice transferable — structured into courses and taught by the engineers who apply it on real projects.
APPROACH
How we teach
Practitioner-led
Every course is taught by a working Akkerman engineer. Instruction comes from current project experience, not from a teaching career held apart from engineering.
Applied
Programs are anchored to real engineering scenarios. The emphasis is on the judgment, validation, and traceability that engineering work demands — not theory studied in isolation.
Disciplined
Training follows a structured methodology, consistent with how engineering work itself is delivered: scoped, designed, validated, documented.
