Overview
What this course covers
Creo Simulate brings finite element analysis into the Creo environment, so structural evaluation can be done on the same model used for design. This course covers that workflow end to end: setting up an analysis, defining materials and idealizations, building and controlling a mesh, applying loads and constraints, running a static structural analysis, and reading the results.
The scope is static structural analysis. The work centres on interpreting stress, displacement, and deformation results, and on locating the critical areas of a mechanical structure — the stage where a design is checked before it goes to manufacturing.
